The time is whizzing past again and we find ourselves in June. The heat has been a *little* out of my comfort zone, but I did do some making:
The Chertsey ladies made these woven bowls (thanks Plum)
The Tula Pink giant hexie flimsy was finally finished, and has gone to Sharon to be layered and quilted . . .

. . . which meant I could start on a batik FQ pack she gave me last year. This is going to be a hand-sewing-on-holiday patchwork, and luckily I was away first with colleagues from over 30 years ago
Half square triangles,
One of my bonus daughters had a baby boy, so James needed a quilt
No holidays now until September, so there might be some at-home-in-front-of-the-TV sewing. I'm not really sure where it's going, but I'm loving the colours!
Keep cool

Oh my word! LOVE those batik colour combinations and what you are doing with them - like the most amazing sampler of different patterns and techniques!
ReplyDeleteThose woven bowls look very accomplished - well done to all!
And your courtyard! No need to go on holiday again when you have such a beautiful area to enjoy - it looks fabulous! Keep on enjoying everything - it looks wonderful! xx
I love your hexies and all the other colourful projects you've got on the go and your garden is looking nice. Hopefully, we will have some good (not too hot, not too cold and not raining) weather and you will get to spend lots of time enjoying it :)
